Postcard with a black and white photograph of the Lawrence Public Library on the front. Photograph is closeup of the building at a side angle. At the bottom of the photograph "Library" is typed in white ink. Photograph sits in the middle of a patterned gold square. A white border is around the entire square. Above the square "Lawrence, Kan." is typed in black ink. Along the left border "Tom Jones Pub., Cin., O. No. 830" is typed in black ink. On the right side of the front "Will write soon C.L.L." is written in black ink. On the back the postcard is addressed to Miss Gladys Popham in Lindsborg, Kansas. Postmarked January 19, 1906 in Lawrence, Kansas. On the back is information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired, James 6/19/1977.
