Postcard with a black and white photograph of the mining engineers on the front. Photograph depicts two rows of men sitting on a stair case. A white border is at the right, left and bottom of the postcard. At the bottom border ""K.U. Miners" - 1911." is written in blue ink. On the back is a note to Miss Clyda Garrett in Rockford, Illinois from Tim in Lawrence, Kansas. The note jokes about being "the smallest bunch of graduates on the Hill." Postmarked May 31, 1911. Information on when and where the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/19/2001 from W. Taylor.
