Description
Postcard with a sepia photograph of the band stand at Haskell Institute on the front. At the bottom of the photograph is a dark brown stip with "No. 6082. Band Stand, Haskell Inst., Lawrence, KS." typed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back in the middle "Manufactured by M.L. Zercher Book and Sta. Co., Topeka, Kan." is printed sideways in black ink. A note is written to Miss Bertha Kesler in Baldwin, Kansas from her sister Stella in Lone Star, Kansas. Postmarked August 1909. Information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/25/1974 from Edich Postma.
